Sea Change?

Well we are considering a bit of a sea change... done this before but who knows... We went up to Jarrahdale to look at some houses with sweeping views down the valley and close to a nice winery (Millbrook) where we sheltered from the rain. Then went on to a log chop and the local fair. It would be a fair commute (45min each way) but compared to pretty much anywhere else in the world quite reasonable. I am sure though that i would miss the short walk/cycle... I think that Morris would have to be pensioned off though. It seems crazy that our little timber cottage is worth more that a large house+swimming pool+other stuff but i suppose it is supply and demand and "position, position, position"

Camping in the Cold...

The family went camping at Wadi farm up near Badgingarra. It was lovely during the day but a bit chilly in the evening. The boys enjoyed it. We even took weasel dog for some reason i am not quite sure about. The tents went well and it was all very nice but could have been improved with a roaring open fire; but maybe with two budding pyromaniacs it was as well that the campsite did not allow that to happen! Went to New Norcia on the way. My uncle, Denis, had the job of being the bussiness manager there a few years ago but gave it away in frustration at the lack of want to change. It is all looking a bit like it is going to seed. Maybe that is part of it's charm but it may just kill the place off first... if it doesn't just fall over first. Went to the Pinacles as well which was intersting. I have lived in WA for over 30 years and never been before.

I'm a pioneer!

Well there you go; wasted some time while waiting for Quartus to compile the latest FPGA by doing a personality profile... why? not sure... I suppose i was interested to see if agreed whith what i thought. Anyway anser a million questions then it tries to charge you for the result!!! it does give you this though:

Your Personality Type:
Pioneer
Your confidence, imagination, and creative spirit make you the Pioneer. You are not interested in following society's dictates - you prefer to think for yourself. You have conviction in your beliefs, but are willing to try almost anything once. Your imaginative exploits rarely entail acting completely irresponsibly - you know your boundaries. You have a fairly outgoing nature, and enjoy both spending time with people, and spending time alone. Your varied environment helps maintain your steady emotional state. You are anything but traditional or predictable and that's just the way you like it.
And the reality is that my personality really is the "axe yeilding homicidal manic" type of personality... well no they are probably right... but i'm not paying for it...
