Drawing

Was busy sanding the hallway concrete to try and make it flat today. The boys had been busy and Declan had drawn a still life of the remains of Morning Tea. I thought that it was rather good so I have sahred it with you all. Visitied by Web greatness recently. The Hit monitor had a reference from Bolton University from linked from Chromasia comments. It must have been David Nightingale! I wish my pictures were as cool as his! Posted by Picasa

Duke St.

This is Duke St. in Manchester. Took this for Stewart who has a house in Duke St. East Fremantle but lives in Adelaide. Sadly he has his house on the market, so if you are interested and superbly finished house then it is well worth looking into. The best bit about Stew not being here is that we don't visit and Rosemary then dosen't compare their house to ours... Posted by Picasa

Spelling

There is a small icon hiding at the bottom of the page which when you look at the blog works out who you are (well very generally, area and country). It also tells you how the person found the blog. If it from a search engine then what the person was searching for. I am often amazed at what people search for and find on my blog. Skipol is a favourite. I did a post about being bored out of my skull at Amsterdam's airport. I have had several hits on this page. When I have a look I see that on Google I am in the first page for "skipol airport" which seeing that it is a pretty large airport seems very odd until i notice that it should be spelt Schiphol... The moral is that if you spell very poorly then you will get more hits as most people also can't spell very well!

It's Going to Rain...

Back to Paris. This outside the Popediu Center. They have free WiFi (wifeey as the lady we rented the apartment called it) hence the people sitting with their laptops. About 15 minutes after I took this picture (which is a mosaic of about 7 shots) the skies opened and it hammered down. Posted by Picasa

Fathers Day Breakfast

Took this slightly Esheresque photo of us having Brekfast outside this morning. We then quickly bottled a brew of beer, put down 4 bags of floor leveling compund in the hallway and then headed into Perth on the train. We did a little bit of shopping (I bought Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon for probably the third time, this time in SACD format) and went to the Belgian Beerhouse for chips and some excellent beer! Posted by Picasa
