From Beside the Road

Latest totting expedition rescued this! I cycled past it for a couple of days before i dragged the boys up to rescue it. They were more that somewhat embarrased but put up with their fathers idisyncracies. It is a Yamaha CN-50 or should i say it WAS a Yamaha CN-50. Unfortunately the keyboard is a somewhat sad where somebody has kicked it in, a bit unnecessary. About the only information that I can find on it is that is from about 1979 and it was rescued from outside Eskimo Joes Mum's house (but i don't think that she lives there anymore). The speaker and amplifier are OK and i can probably cut the keyboard down and make it into a sort of like this.

Nick in Exhibition

One of the really fun things we did in Melbourne was visit the Nick Cave Exhibition. I have been a Nick Cave fan for a long time now and been to see him 7 or 8 times and he has nearly always been excellent (i will forgive the concert at the Passenger Terminal in Fremantle as the Acoustics were awful). The exhibition was really quite fascinating with lots of photos and all sorts of Nick's bits and pieces that he has collected over the years. If you are in Melbourne I can really recomment going to see it... and it's free!

Melbourne Cost of Living!

Struth! If you thought that it was expensive in Perth then you should give Melbourne a try! Well readers (all two of you) I am going to attempt to update this more regularly, with better English and spelling and more interesting things... Probably unlikely! Well it's been a very long time between posts -- sorry about that! So what's been happening? Well a week in hospital, a week in Denmark (SW of Australia version) a week of Christmas, two weeks of Victoria and one week back at work. Sorry to all the Melbournites that I again didn't get to catch up! Next time we go to Victoria it won't be Christmas and we will hopefully not be ricocheting around the state.
